The commodity trader believes its reduced focus on liquids trading compared with its peers could offer it an advantage in the energy transition
Castleton Commodities International (CCI), the trading firm born out of a management buyout of Louis Dreyfus’ energy trading arm, is banking on its traditionally greater exposure to gas and power markets to give it an edge over its more oil market-focused peers as the world adjusts to a lower-carbon future. “It is no secret that we have been predominantly in the gas and power business for a very long time.
