Planned rounds The UK will hold its upcoming offshore oil and gas licensing round this autumn, according to regulator the North Sea Transition Authority, formerly known as the Oil and Gas Authority. This will be the first UK licensing round to take into account the country’s forthcoming climate compatibility checkpoint for new oil and gas developments. No further details are available.
