The industry's most comprehensive list of current and recent rounds for onshore and offshore licences
Planned rounds The UK will hold its upcoming offshore oil and gas licensing round this autumn, according to regulator the North Sea Transition Authority, formerly known as the Oil and Gas Authority. This will be the first UK licensing round to take into account the country’s forthcoming climate compatibility checkpoint for new oil and gas developments. No further details are available. Open India’s Directorate General of Hydrocarbons has again extended the deadline for bids in its Discovered Small Fields 3 round, this time to 31 May 2022.
