First gas from the company’s Blythe field should begin to flow through the SBPS before early November. The name pays tribute to a series of seabed sandbank features that characterise the SNS area in which the project is located. Blythe’s production well spudded on 2 August and is on track to be completed in under three months, so first Saturn Banks gas should be expected before 2 November.
