QatarEnergy and Japan’s JERA have forged one of the most significant long-term LNG supply agreements in recent years, a deal that highlights both Qatar’s ambition to remain the world’s leading LNG exporter and Japan’s determination to secure stable energy supplies for decades to come. Signed at LNG2026 in Doha between Yukio Kani, global CEO and chair of JERA, and H.E.
