Letter from Asia: Net-zero needs CCS and LNG
COP28 must recognise the essential role of gas and carbon capture in the energy transition, says the Asia Natural Gas and Energy Association
COP28 needs to prioritise transition technologies such as CCS and cleaner-burning fuels such as LNG if there is to be honest dialogue about achieving net zero in a way that also allows for the continued availability of affordable, reliable and clean energy. This is a key message from the Asia Natural Gas and Energy Association (ANGEA) for all parties that have converged on Dubai for COP28 and its pivotal Global Stocktake (GST).
