US LNG exports can reach 200mn t/yr – Cheniere
North America, including Mexico, can make a substantial contribution to global supply
“We believe that the [US] upstream resource base… is very large and very attractive, [offering] decades and decades of affordable and reliable supply of gas from a massively fragmented industry that responds quickly to price signals,” Anatol Feygin, chief commercial officer of US LNG exporter Cheniere Energy told the Gastech conference in Milan on Tuesday. “Infrastructure is more of a challenge in North America today. The industry has to find ways to solve some of the permitting delays and cost overruns that we have seen with recent projects. It is much easier with intrastate solutions than interstate solutions. Ultimately, the market will resolve that,” he continues. 250mn t/yr – Comb
