One hundred more firms have signed a pledge to reach net-zero emissions by 2040, but more are needed, says former UN climate chief
One hundred businesses have signed up to a pledge to reach net-zero emissions by 2040, taking the total number of companies signed up to over 300. Among the new signatories to the pledge—organised by signatory Amazon and NGO Global Optimism—are shipping company Maersk and software developer SAP.
