Canada CCUS requires CO₂ cost certainty

Administration is looking to embed further policy support to help development of the industry

Greater policy certainty is required for the carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) industry to start taking FIDs on projects in Canada, according to industry experts. A report by thinktank the Global CCS Institute in 2020 found that no CCUS projects were under development in Canada.
