Norway’s gas production averaged just 264mn m³/d in June, one of the five lowest monthly figures across the last seven October-September Gas Years, according to the latest data from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD). Oil output recovered slightly from a slump seen in May, but also remained subdued. The NPD cites “technical problems and maintenance work on some fields” as the driver for lower volumes.
