CHC Helicopter Corporation: Up, up and away
THE OFFSHORE oil and gas boom has been good to CHC Helicopter Corporation. The Canadian firm—the world's largest provider of air-transport services to the global offshore industry—announced its best ever set of quarterly figures in mid-September, amid glowing reports from investment analysts. Total revenues for the first quarter reached C$233m ($178m), from around 40,000 recorded hours' flight time, a rise of C$62m on the same period last year.
