Lake Albert oil project and pipeline get go-ahead
The development will see Ugandan crude exported from the Tanzanian port of Tanga
The governments of Uganda and Tanzania, France’s Total, and Chinese NOC Cnooc have signed the final agreements for the Lake Albert oil development and its integral East African Crude Oil Pipeline (Eacop). The project will transport 230,000bl/d of Ugandan crude via Tanzania to the port of Tanga.
