China remains Sudan's largest trade partner, but within a few weeks the US will decide whether to remove Sudan from its list of state sponsors of terrorism
FOREIGN minister Ali Karti told local media that US observers had completed a six-month monitoring and assessment programme and are expected to make a recommendation to US President Barack Obama within weeks. “The recommendations have been completed and submitted.
