Senex to boost Atlas output
The Australian independent plans to increase the gas project’s capacity by 50pc
ASX-listed Senex Energy has made FID on the expansion of its Atlas gas project, committing to increase production by 50pc. The $40mn expansion will raise Atlas’ production capacity to 18PJ/yr (5.9bn m³/yr), or 48TJ/d, from a current 12PJ/yr, or 32TJ/d. The expanded processing facility is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of the 2023 Australian financial year, or July-September 2022. Drilling to supply the expansion is due to start in September.
