Marty Stromquist
Growing up travelling around drilling rigs with his father, Marty Stromquist was introduced early to the oil industry. Beginning his career as a lease-hand on a drilling rig in Colorado, he has since flourished into one of the most experienced and pioneering individuals in the Canadian petroleum sector. With over 40 years' experience, he first found his passion for technology at Halliburton, where he advanced equipment designs and processes in CTU fracturing. In that role, and in a later one with Pioneer Natural Resources, his patents and innovations helped to get drilling projects off the ground at depths and temperatures never previously thought possible.
