Much like the rest of the world, many Asian countries are pursuing net-zero goals to decarbonise their economies. Asia has traditionally relied on coal and natural gas for power generation; however, capital-intensive investments are being made to boost the use of green hydrogen/ammonia in numerous countries’ energy mixes. Most of these initiatives include heavy investments in hydrogen production, infrastructure, power and fuelling. The region could also be a hotbed for electrolyser development.
