Gentari sets out strategy for aggressive buildout of renewables and hydrogen capacity
Gentari, the recently launched clean energy arm of Malaysian NOC Petronas, has outlined plans to expand its renewables, clean hydrogen and electric vehicle (EV)-charging portfolio rapidly across key Asia Pacific markets by 2030. The company, which will be supported by its parent Petronas during its growth phase, also plans to explore emerging energy technologies as part of its strategy to become one of the world’s leading clean energy players, it said in a strategy update issued at its official launch last week by Malaysian prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
