A cross-party committee of UK parliamentarians has drawn criticism from the hydrogen industry for largely overlooking the clean gas in a key review of low-carbon residential heating solutions to help the country meet its net-zero emissions targets. The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee said in a report published this week that the government is “not yet on track to deliver on its own targets and more urgent changes are required” to meet the challenge of decarbonising domestic heating.
