Linde to build Singapore’s largest electrolyser
The industrial gases firm has secured offtake from Evonik for methionine production
Linde has signed a long-term green hydrogen supply contract with chemicals company Evonik that will involve the development of a 9MW alkaline electrolyser at the latter’s facility on Jurong island in Singapore. The electrolyser will be Singapore’s largest on startup in 2024. Evonik will offtake hydrogen to produce methionine, a key component in animal feed.
