Everfuel starts installing Europe’s biggest electrolyser
Facility expected online in mid-2022 with green hydrogen production and storage capacity adjacent to Fredericia refinery
Danish renewables company Everfuel has started construction of a 20MW electrolyser adjacent to the Fredericia refinery in the central Jutland area of Denmark after receiving final building permits. The electrolyser forms phase one of the HySynergy project and will be the largest in Europe when it comes online in mid-2022, according to Everfuel. The facility, powered by renewable energy, will have a production capacity of about 8t/d of green hydrogen and will have 10t of storage capacity.
