TES and Energie 360 sign circular offtake deal
The German developer will supply the Swiss gas company with synthetic methane while offtaking feedstock CO₂ from its power plants
German green hydrogen developer TES has signed a letter of intent with Swiss gas and energy services firm Energie 360 to supply 1TWh/yr of synthetic methane produced using renewable hydrogen, starting from 2027. TES will also offtake CO₂ feedstock for synthetic methane from Energie 360’s own power plants, theoretically creating a closed loop of emissions. “In the future, there will still be industrial companies that need gas—especially for special high-temperature applications—but we want to offer this gas completely from renewable sources,” says Jorg Wild, Energie 360’s CEO. “In the future, there will still be industrial companies that need gas” Wild, Energie 360 Energie 360 has set
