Germany-based Heidelberg Materials awards FEED contracts for £400m project at its Padeswood plant in Wales
The UK’s first deployment of CCS in the cement industry has moved forward with the award of FEED contracts for a £400m project at Heidelberg Materials’ Padeswood plant in north Wales. The contracts have been awarded to professional services company Worley and industrial group Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI). The Padeswood project has been selected to potentially receive UK government support as part of HyNet North West industrial cluster.
