Indonesia’s state energy company, Pertamina, has signed a CCS development agreement with state-owned Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) and US oil major ExxonMobil as it steps up efforts to position Indonesia as a regional carbon management hub. The agreement calls for collaboration between the three firms on the development of a transboundary CCS value chain through technology transfers and joint efforts on CO₂ transportation and storage.
