Company plans £4bn investment in new plants in southern US, evaluates nine other sites and opens Houston Beccs headquarters
UK-based Drax Group has unveiled plans for an aggressive push into the US market for bioenergy with CCS (Beccs) as it eyes favourable project economics based on tax credits and potential sales of electricity and carbon dioxide removal (CDR).
