ExxonMobil and MHI to cooperate on CCS
Two companies to develop large-scale infrastructure based on MHI’s liquid amine CCS technology
US oil major ExxonMobil and Japanese engineering company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) have agreed to work together on the deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology for large industrial emitters. The two firms will jointly develop CCS infrastructure based on liquid amine technology developed by MHI and Japanese utility Kansai Electric Power.
