Climeworks and Northern Lights are jointly investigating the construction of a full-chain CO2 removal and storage project in Norway. The negative-emissions project could provide a solution for companies in non-industrial sectors to become carbon neutral or even carbon negative. Switzerland-based Climeworks specialises in supplying direct air capture technology combined with permanent CO2 storage. Its technology runs on renewable energy and waste heat and the modular design of its collectors means they can be stacked to almost any scale.
