Equinor puts transition plan to shareholders
Firm aims to make global operations carbon-neutral by 2030
Norwegian state-owned Equinor will submit its energy transition plan to shareholders for an advisory vote at its next annual general meeting in May, and then subsequently once every three years. The firm’s management will give a progress report to shareholders annually on the plan to reach net-zero scope one, two and three emissions by 2050.
